Eco Open Houses (and 25th October 2015 social)

It's that time of year again and Eco Open Houses takes place in Brighton & Hove over two weekends 17-18 and 24-25 October.

We had planned not to have a social in October (because of an involved induction process for new development team members) but since a few of us had planned to go to the Eco Open Houses we thought we could as well pick a day and time to go and make it into a social for the month so others interested could join us!

We'll be coming together to visit a selection of houses as a Sussex Cohousing Social on Sunday 25th October, some time between 1-5pm. We haven't decided a route or meeting place as yet but we will and email round about it ahead of time.

In short, Eco Open Houses sees local people opening up their retro-fitted or new built homes to the public. You get to see how homes can be adpated or built to be more environmentally friendly and economical and meet the people behind the projects and homes themselves. I'm confident that if you have an interest in eco homes, you'll find visiting some interesting and inspiring!
